How can I stop fake tan from staining my clothes even after showering?

I’ve used so many different brands over the years and I’ve had this issue with every single one. I usually just put up with it and use a good stain remover, but in a couple days I’m going to an event where it’s traditional to wear all white. If anyone has any tips or tricks to avoid this you’d be a life saver!
