Short connecting flight in Orlando questions

Help with connecting flight

My girlfriend and I are flying on the same flight but not next to each other (too expensive to pay for us to sit together) and we have an hour connection. We are flying from Boston to Orlando then from Orlando to San Jose Costa Rica. Any suggestions for making it to that second flight? Will we have difficulty in Orlando getting through the airport? How do we navigate waiting for a long time if we are seated at the back of the plane? Any help would be great.
