How to calculate # of unique locations for an item in an list.
Sorry, I think the reason I'm having trouble finding the answer is I don't know how to phrase my question.
I exported the total inventory of a character from a game into an excel sheet. I'm trying to consolidate the items into as few storage locations as possible.
Column A is the location of the item, such as in my inventory, vault or saddlebags.
Column B is the name of the item.
Column C is the number of the item in the stack.
The problem I'm running into is that Item 1 can only stack up to 10 units per inventory slot, so if there are 13 in my inventory it's listed as;
Inventory Item 1 10
Inventory Item 1 3
This has it showing up as 2 locations when I try using a pivot table, even though it's just 1. What's the best way to go about being able to determine at a glance which items are stored at multiple locations? I have basic familiarity with pivot tables and power query.
Thank you ahead of time! If you need more details, let me know.
