LED mask vs Medicube Booster Pro at 25… worth it?

Hi!

So I’m 25 and lately I’ve been really thinking about buying something more than just skincare, like an actual gadget/device that could help improve my skin long term and maybe slow down aging a bit.

My sister recently got one of those LED masks (with multiple modes, mainly the red/infrared light), which is supposed to help with wrinkles, acne, collagen etc. And I’ve also been seeing a TON of videos about the Medicube Age-R Booster Pro — people seem to love it across different platforms, but of course there are negative reviews too for both.

Right now I could get the Medicube for around €150 or below on YesStyle because of discounts and points, which is honestly really tempting since it’s the cheapest I’ve seen from a legit store… but it’s still kinda expensive for me as a student 😭

So I wanted to ask people who actually have experience:

  • If you’ve tried either (or both), which one would you recommend more?
  • Is anyone using both at the same time or is that unnecessary?
  • Did you actually see any results?

My friends keep telling me this is something people start using at like 40 and that for me it’s a waste of money, but I feel like once wrinkles are already there it’s way harder to fix them than prevent them??

I’ve been into Korean skincare for a bit over a year now, but I’ll be honest I’m not always consistent (sometimes I literally have to set timers to remind myself to do it lol), so idk if I’m overthinking this or not.

I might sound kinda clueless, but I’d really just love to hear honest opinions from people who’ve used these. Thank you so much!! 🫶
