foot care help

okay so recently i've started to become super self conscious about my feet. unfortunately i do not have professional pedicure money, so i've been trying to do some foot maintenance at home. the past 4 or so days before bed i've put glycolic acid then bag balm and normal socks on and they've definitely started to peel slightly but my feet are still so rough and nasty looking. i was wondering if anyone has any advice for other options or knows how long it'll take the glycolic acid to actually get rid of the calluses? i definitely need to start using a pumice stone after i shower too but i feel like that barely does anything. i'm not even sure if i'm clipping the side of my toe nails the right way now & i cannot find a video showing the proper way for the life of me. my main problem is just that my feet are rough, honestly they're not too horrible looking (except for now since they're peeling slightly from the acid) but i want pretty feet!!! sos, any advice?
