Rounding to account for part of an hour in wage calculation
Sorry for the clunky title, I'm not sure how to put this simply!
I'm trying to work out how much a project will cost me. One of the costs is labour, which I want to pay at a rate of £30 per hour. I want to pay people £30 for any part of the first hour - so if they only work 10 minutes, they get £30. But for every hour after the first, I want to pay them for the full hour *only* if they work past the first 10 minutes. So if you work 10 mins, you get £30; if you work 1hr 10 mins, you still get £30; but if you work 1hr 11 mins, you get £60.
Is there a way to get Excel to calculate this for me in a formula I can copy down the sheet? I'm working on Excel on my OneDrive and as far as I know am using the most up to date version available. Thank you!
