Why my make up gets cakey when use glasses?

Why my make up gets cakey when use glasses?

Hey everyone, I need a bit of advice!

I don’t wear glasses all the time, just occasionally, and I usually try really hard not to touch my face during the day so my makeup stays in place.

But today I wore my glasses and noticed my foundation started breaking up really badly around the areas where they sit (like nose/cheeks).

It kind of went patchy and almost “cakey” in chunks, which doesn’t usually happen to me.

I’m not sure if it’s the glasses rubbing, the pressure, or maybe something with my skincare/makeup combo?

For those of you who wear glasses sometimes (not full-time), how do you stop your makeup from separating where the frames touch your skin?

I usually use the basic make up: moisturiser, primer, cc colour corrector and foundation ( before I wash my face with Cerave).

Is it possible because different brands? I use erborian and KiKo foundation.

Any tips or product suggestions would be really appreciated!
