Best Mascara for Me?

Hey guys! New to this sub and wanted to hear your opinions as I’m looking for a new mascara. I currently use Maybelline Sky High Waterproof and/or Covergirl Clump Crusher in Waterproof. For context, I have stick straight lashes and sleep on my side with the side of my face pressed into the pillow lol so may I have to curl my lashes. I find the Maybelline mascara holds the curl well but I end up with major raccoon eyes by the end of the day, whereas the Covergirl doesn’t hold the curl as well but I don’t have the raccoon eye problem.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a mascara that actually holds up the lashes without getting smudging under the eye? I also don’t put it on my lower lashes, so it’s not like I’m intentionally putting product down there. I’d prefer drugstore but really open to anything. TIA
