Elf Halo Glow setting powder dupe
Need help! I thought setting powder was not for me, until I recently found Elf Halo Glow setting powder. Oh my goddd!! This is literally the best powder I've ever touched. I've used my same Armani luminous silk foundation for ever, and it wasnt until i started wearing elf halo glow powder that i got multiple compliments on my skin and even had someone ask what makeup i was wearing so they could buy it. I've never gotten so many compliments on my skin than i have wearing the elf halo glow.
UNFORTUNATELY, and truly unfortunately, because I've been so heartbroken over this, spending so much money trying to find a dupe, elf halo glow gave me the worst breakouts. In less than 2 weeks that I began wearing it my face broke out in cystic acne. Im talking at least 2 huge bumps coming out everyday I wore it. This shit is so fucking good though, I've legit been considering just wearing it and dealing with the breakouts because thats how good my face looks with this powder.
Every other setting powder makes my perfect dewy satin finish makeup, end up looking flat, matte, and cakey. I've tried all the high end powders, Hourglass, Huda, KimChi, Givenchy prisme, Saie setting powder, Charlotte Tilbury, etc. literally NONE compare or come even close to the Elf Halo glow. A lot of people claim that the Hourglass powder is a dupe for the elf halo glow, but truly, thats an insult. Hourglass is like a dollarstore version of elf halo glow that doesn't even give a good glow or blur. I cannot seem to find another setting powder that gives that perfect blur while also giving that soft pearlescent photo focus glow.
please PLEASE PLEASE!! If you have found a true dupe for Elf Halo Glow setting powder leave it below, because i feel like im loosing my mind trying to find one. How is it possible that Elf is the only brand that makes a setting powder like this. And again, please dont recommend Hourglass setting powder or Huda, neither of them come even close.
Also I have normal-dry skin.
