Our neighbors chicken got into our yard and our dog got it

Hi, we aren’t chicken owners but our backyard neighbors have chickens (our yard is separated by a fence). The neighbors extended the fence up in some spots but not all of them and one of their chickens just got into our yard and our dog tried to play with it (roughly). The chicken is still alive but seems injured and our neighbor isn’t answering texts so we don’t know what to do with it?? Any advice?? We feel so bad
