Gentle hair tools for a seborrheic scalp?

reference: hair is mostly straight/fine with a slight wave underneath, thick & full, currently shoulder length blunt cut it making it thicker than it normally is

I have seb derm on most of scalp & mild psoriasis along the hair line/nape of neck. I use topical steroids as needed to treat but for those who don’t know these conditions dont go away & come and go based on stress/genetics

anyway im tired of cheap hair tools Hurting/burning my scalp & hair. The revlon hurt bad & would leave my scalp inflamed even more than it was due to psoriasis. I stopped to let my hair& scalp recover. It’s been months and my hair is finally healthy again

problem is with my work schedule I shower every night (I do that regardless) but on my hair wash days it’s typically at night but going to sleep with wet or damp hair just feeds the fungus on my scalp so I HAVE to sleep with dry hair. my hair wash days are every 2-3 days when I’m flaring up, can push it to 5 days if my scalp is clear

I’m looking for a blow dryer (either a dryer or blow dryer brush) that will last me at least 5 years

dyson is way too expensive. I’m looking at flex style or speed style. I have the bioionic long barrel curler (from when my hair was long) and I love it but for traveling I’d be interested in something similar to the flex style to save space. And since my hair is short now the long barrel is kind of awkward to use.

does anyone have recs or can give input if the flex style to speedstyle is right for me? Should I just do a blower & brush or blowdryer brush & stick with curling my hair separately?
