Just lost our second chicken this month, why the fuck is life like this

we just lost our girl puffin minutes ago, why do chickens die so much. i alr lost my baby beatris this month. i dont even know why puffin died (were getting a necropsy bc one of our other girls is getting slight symptom). i just want my chickens to all be happy healthy and safe and instead this happens. i saved 5 of her feathers and am working on the process to preserve them, any ideas for some charms i could make? i already saved 3 feathers from beatris im goingto make charms with.
